A quick tribute to Joe Quinones’ amazing talent for drawing boobs.

Do I even need to explain myself on this one?  It’s just so novel to see a male artist working for the Big Two who is perfectly aware of how breasts fall, how they move, how they look supported and unsupported.  AND HEY IT MAKES HIS ART EVEN SEXIER FANCY THAT

Reblogging because HEY LOOK BOOBS THAT LOOK RIGHT AND VARIED AND DIFFERENT OMG.

Plus I like the line quality, so there.

Seriously, this above example makes me happy, because there’s distinct understanding of physics, weight, support and not depending on the outfit, and then how the outfit actually interacts with the breasts, meaning that the fabric is stretched between them, it doesn’t form into boob pockets like way too many supposedly skin tight suits we see in comics. I love this with much love.

Splendid!

This times a million.

I have always considered myself the kind of person who relates equally to male and female characters, but Shepard is the first time where I’ve honestly gone “Oh, I get it. This is what boys get in basically every game they play”.

WHY?!

While going through some images from D&D’s “Drow of the Underdark”, I came across this fantastic example of Boobs-n-Butt. Check out that twisting action!

The image is titled “Grin and Bear It”, the artist is Jackoilrain.

This has to be one of the weirdest contexts for a boobs and butt pose.  It’s just so… what!?  I don’t even know what she’s doing much less why she has to break her spine to do it.

Gives new meaning to the phrase “put your back into it”! *crack*

The contorted fighting style?

eschergirls:

An official image of Chun-Li from the Street Fighter video game series. I’m pretty sure that all the processing power in the world couldn’t get a human body to contort like that.

This is one of the more unique ways I’ve seen to show a woman facing away from us while showing us breast and face.  Usually they swivel, this is the first time I’ve seen the boob visible over the shoulder.

Shoulder-boob is a new development! Impressive.

Escher Girls: Victoria's Secret is rather gruesome

I’m not sure if this qualifies, it being an ad and not exactly related to the big 3 (comics, video games… well I guess you could argue it’s “fantasy” art).

Is it just me or is the girl in the middle… broken?

Not just you, it’s a Photoshop disaster. It’s scary when…

It’s depressing as hell that the ad is also called “The New Shapes of Very Sexy”.

New shapes indeed.

Nothing is served by being upset at criticism of your art. If you choose to use it to improve, or if you keep on trucking, that’s up to you… but screaming about how nobody should be criticizing your art would be immature.

In the interest of the anatomically possible, I made a small tutorial in honor of Escher Girls. <3 http://ladynilstria.deviantart.com/#/d4rjhcs

Great guide by Lady Nilstria, who has done a bunch of really great redraws lately, on how to draw female anatomy and poses. :)

This is a most excellent tutorial in all the most excellent ways.

Often people who complain about this sort of carry-on are told that these women are SUPER FLEXIBLE and have abilities beyond the scope of everyday women. In fact, their fighting abilities and super abilities and what-not are put on display with this sort of illustration! This is just aiding the show of strength in this woman and by complaining about that, we’re complaining about the depiction of strong, able women in comics! Yes, I have seriously heard this argument before. Guess what? Unlike Supergirl, it doesn’t fly. If it did, we’d be seeing male heroes like this.

Women’s skeletons contain the exact same amount of vertebrae as that of men. If that is the case, and if men look ridiculous in these poses, then SO DO WOMEN. And they do. You don’t even KNOW the amount of groaning and eye-rolling that goes on when we see this shit.

ain’t safe for work, nope.

Last night I was emailed some porn that someone drew of me because I said a thing on the internet that they disagreed with.  Because, there you go, ‘justice.’  When stuff like that comes your way you don’t usually say anything because who gives a fuck, but oh well, let’s do it anyway.  So, I’ve seen that shit before because I’ve been on the internet for 100 years, but it always looks like this:

Give me a break!  It should look like this

Kate Beaton is awesome. That is all.
